4th of July AmericaFest at the Rose Bowl
One of the largest fireworks displays in Southern California with music and food vendors in the nearby Arroyo.
When: July 4th, parking lot opens at 10 am, food court opens at 2 pm; stadium opens at 6:30 pm, Fireworks at 9:00 pm. Where: The Rose Bowl Stadium, Pasadena
Cost: $13 GA, $25 reserved, Kids 5 and under free in GA section. Children require a ticket in Reserved seating.  Advance tickets on sale in May through www.ticketmaster.com. Box office a week before and cash only at the stadium. Parking: $25 cash for cars

July 4th Block Party at Grand Park
Grand Park in the LA Civic Center is celebrating Independence Day with an eight-block party culminating in a rooftop fireworks display. The festivities stretch from Temple to 2nd Street between Grand and Main. There are two main stages, one between Grand and Hill and the other between Broadway and Spring. This is an alcohol-free event.  When: July 4, Music begins at 4 pm, Fireworks at 9:00 pm

The Culver City 4th of July celebration will include live music, food trucks, family-friendly midway games and a fireworks display at West LA College. All-American 4th of July on the Queen Mary
Queen Mary celebration will be multi-era Tribute to Classic Americana through the Decades. Palisades Americanism Parade
Old fashioned Independence Day Parade followed by fireworks display.
When: July 4th, Skydivers 1:50 pm, 2:00 parade, 6:30 pm entertainment, 9 pm fireworks
Where: Parade on Sunset Blvd. in Pacific Palisades between via de la Paz and Drummond St., Entertainment and fireworks at Palisades Charter High School.

GRIFFITH OBSERVATORY is an awesome and FREE location to see many of LA’s firework displays. 
  July 4TH, Most Fireworks displays start at 9:00 pm. But we suggest getting to Griffith Park early, as the park will be very crowded on the Fourth of July.
